The Derby Party Hat Contest has long been a parade of the most creative hats you’ll find anywhere! If you’re ready to show off your hat, style, and creativity on our main stage, then enter now and get crafting! Please see below for instructions. Good luck!

Here's How:

Download the Entry Form

ALL contestants must download and complete the Hat Contest entry form. Please bring it with you on May 7 to help expedite your entry.

Create Your Hat

get out that glue gun and make your hat. Our event is notorious for having sme of the funnest designs around.

Arrive On Time & Check In

You will need to check in by 2:30 so please arrive promptly. Doors open at 1:00 and check in starts at 1:15. Look for our Hat Contest table by the main stage in the Plaza.

Submit Your Form & Get Photographed

When you submit your form you will be photographed and given your entrant number - don't lose it!

Contest Starts at 3:00

The contest starts at 3:00 sharp. We suggest staying near the stage and watching the scholarship presentation.

Have Fun & Be Nice

Have fun with the contest. Our judges will be watching the whole time and make their decisions after watching all the contestants. Please be respectful and remember this is a fundraiser and this contest is supposed to be FUN!
